| | Course Objectives | The course aims to provide managers and engineers with a better understanding of Singapore’s approach to the collection and treatment of used water.
| | Course Synopsis & Methodology | The course will comprise classroom lectures, discussions and site visits to selected Singapore-based companies.

| | Participant Profile | Applicants should be:
- Senior policymakers, senior managers and senior engineers with at least three years of relevant experience in wastewater treatment and sewerage management
- Nominated by their respective Governments
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- In good health

| | Course Objectives | The course provides an understanding of how Singapore manages its water supply and used water resources in an integrated and sustainable way. Participants will learn how to competently and effectively manage drainage, potable water, and used water systems, as well as gain insights into the operations of drainage, water, and used water infrastructure. The workshop will also cover Singapore’s innovative water sources, such as NEWater and desalination.
Participants are encouraged to share and discuss the challenges of water supply and distribution management in their respective countries through country presentations and group discussions. Visits to relevant water installations and local companies in the water industry will also be included.
